Meet Emma, our QHSE Coordinator.


What is your role at Prism QHSE?

Initially I started off in a co-ordination role; onboarding new clients to our Author Process Mapping Software and working closely with the software team. As the software evolved, I was responsible for ensuring customer/user feedback was captured in the software updates.

As Prism QHSE has grown, I have now completed the ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor course, and now assist our QHSE lead with analysing and implementing ISO standards for external companies.

Describe your time with Prism so far:

I was delighted to join Prism on a part-time basis in October 2023 and work alongside colleagues I had worked with before in previous roles in the energy industry. It meant I knew who I would be working alongside. The rest of the team, I slowly got to know, and found out who liked the outdoors, dogs, eating chocolate……..yes these were the topics of my questions and conversations! It gave me a few topics of conversation to break the ice for the first few weeks while I settled in.

Prism Energy was really taking off at that time, and I was initially involved in the working with the company’s newest software ‘Author’. As well as supporting the process mapping software, I was also involved in starting up the recruitment side of the business, Prism Connect, before we hired our great Recruitment Manager, Darren.

Since then, I’ve watched the team grow at a pretty rapid rate, which makes me proud to see how much Andy, our director, has done to get us here.

What is your favourite thing about working at Prism?

It’s definitely the people 😊

It’s also fun seeing the potential for Author software and the diverse range of industries and sectors we are now working with.
